Hi Krista,its been almost 4mos. now, well I hope your cat is well. I had the same experience a few years ago and I know how it feels like. I thought he was going to die since he would pee a lot every hour, and couldn't even stand anymore I took him to the vet and the Dr. told me he ate poison He gave Sam a lot of meds got confined and recovered a few days after.

and to Clara David. I just find promoting a website very inappropriate on concerns like this.

I sort of adopted this stray cat that lounge around our porch a few months ago. I'd feed him everyday with a lot of fish left overs. I tried to make him feel safe by keeping my distance every time I would go near his "territory" he would still hiss even when I try to make him see that im just putting food on his plate.

I tried introducing myself a few times by sitting a few meters away from him so he can observe. Curious as always he would look at me and once even tried to go near me when i slowly place my hand on the floor he tried to scratch it and made that angry hissing sound again. He also did this with my mom after she placed food on his plate and another incident when i was about to leave he ättacked my foot by "scratch slap" good thing it hit my slippers.

By observing his behavior I felt that it isn't safe to let my nieces and nephews play anywhere near around that area anymore as the cat is very suspicious and defensive even with me.

Do i shoo him away now? We left for a week for a short trip when we came back he was still there. I think his owner doesn't feed him well or has he gone comfortable visiting us for food in the morning? Silly cat. Why is he so angry?
