Hi Kat Baradi. They are good to have at home. Makulit si Dolly, siguro kasi bata pa, kagat dito, tambling doon, takbo dito, lusot duon. Litter trained narin si Dolly. At first hindi ko talaga alam kung paano sya itetrained na magpoop sa litter box, saka ang dumi lagi ng box nya because of lupa na minsan basa basa pa, so I bought a cat litter, para hindi makalat at hindi madumi tignan. Ayon, she loved it. Minsan dun pa sya natutulog sa bato bato. Hindi ko narin sya kinukulong ngayon, kasi alam nya na kung saan magrerelease ng waste. Hindi sya alagain once na litter trained na. Having a pet is a big responsibility. Masaya mag-alaga but you also have to be aware of their needs. Kahit domestic cat lang si Dolly, I'm giving her extra care. She has her own house (I made it), she has cat litter, she has vaccinations. Well, it's worth it

Hi! The last time I posted here I was asking for help in preparation for cat ownership, 1 week after I already got a kitty. Her name is Dolly. Well, I can honestly say that I wasn't totally prepared yet and I was still in the process of preparation when this black and white feline was brought to our home. Our maid who knew I was eager to adopt or buy a cat decided to bring Dolly to us, since she was just being bullied by big cats in their place. She was like malnourished when she came to us, her tummy was big which was not proportionate to her thin legs. At first I thought that we could no longer keep her, because I thought that her worms might be contagious for my 6-year old sister. But then I decided to take actions (though I wasn't pretty sure yet of what I was supposed to do) before I make a decision to give up on her; I researched about cat worms and what to do with it. The next day I brought her to the nearest vet clinic in our subdivision and got her dewormed plus vitamins that the vet suggested. So 1 week has passed, I chose to let her stay. But then she caused a lot of troubles that almost made me want to change my mind again.
Tumae kasi sya sa master's bedroom namin. It wasn't my fault though, yung brother ko kasi natutuwa din sa mga pusa at malapit sya kay Dolly, isang gabi pinatulog nya sa tabi nya (dun kasi sya natutulog sa master's bedroom, alone) si Dolly, natulog lang naman ito ng mahimbing the whole night. But then the next night, kinulong ko na sya sa isang kwarto namin kasi natatakot akong baka tumae sya sa kama, eh yung brother ko kinuha sya ulit at pinatulog sa tabi nya, the next morning may dalawang tae na sa kama at may ihi pa. Malas pa kasi may mga damit pang nakakalat galing sa sampayan dun sa kama, pati yun nataihan nya. May pasok non ang bro ko, so I had no choice but to clean up the mess. Pero di ko kinaya, tinanggal ko lang yung sapin ng kama at iniwan sa terrace saka hinintay ko yung katulong namin na sya na ang maglaba. Grabe talaga,....ambaho pa. If somebody who's reading this might have a helpful advice on how to train cats properly particularly sa pag pupu, please reply po kayo
Today, magtutwo weeks na sya samin. I know she spent her first 3 months to some place without us, but I hope magtagal sya sa amin for like years at wag na syang umalis.
The moment she came to us, I prayed to God na hindi pa ako handa pero dumating sya kung kaya naman sana tulungan Niya ako alagaan ang pusa na ito.
Now, I'm learning more about cats and started seeing their importance. It's so fun whenever I play with Dolly, para syang Dora the explorer plus a hunter, kung saan saan nagsusuot at laging nanunugod. Haha! I am like a parent now who watches her child grows, but my child is in a form of a kitty. I wanna make sure she will be healthy and beautiful in the future.

I want to know what kind of cat food is best for feline kitties? Pinapakain ko lang sya ng same na kinakain namin: tuna, bangus, tilapia, etc. But then I read a forum about cat foods and I started wondering kung kakapal at gaganda ba ang balahibo ng kuting kung pakakainin ko sya ng talagang cat foods? So what kind should I buy at meron bang nabibiling ganun sa malls especially sa Cavite? I heard na maganda daw yung Royal Canin at AIMS, but then hindi pa ako nakakapagcanvass at search kung saan ako makakabili ng ganun dito malapit samin. Please help me with this. Thank you, I'll be posting more questions and stories regarding Dolly next time, it would be so great to meet cat lovers too and I hope there will be more people who will appreciate cats and kittens.

I read some forums about cat foods and what I heard is royal canin has a lot of good feedbacks from cat breeders. I want to try it as well for my new kitty so that she will get fat and healthy. Hi. I'm Dayanara, 17 years old, residing in Paliparan Dasma Cavite, a college student taking up BSA in La Salle Dasma.

Hindi po talaga kami mahilig sa pets, kasi before nung maliliit pa mga kapatid ko hindi pwede ang mabalahibo at nangangagat sa bahay like dogs and cats. Pero nitong nakaraan lang, may dumating sa amin na pusa, and we took care of him for a while. Napamahal ako sa pusa, ganun din ang mga kapatid ko, and we're missing him a lot since nung nawala at hindi na sya bumalik sa bahay.

Now I'm studying of proper way of taking care of cats. I'm a student and even though it's hard but I'm saving money to buy things that a cat needs. Siguro by next year pa ako makakabili ng persian cat, I hope prepared na ako when that time comes.
